Grimsby Trawler Andes GY5 in Grimsby Docks with the Dock Tower in the background. Official number 110875 Built by the Edwards Brothers in North Shields in 1899. In 1917 it was purchased by the Admiralty for minesweeping trials then later that year transferred to the Fishery Reserve. In 1919 its owners were the Spurn Steam Fishing Co. Ltd, Grimsby, in 06/1923 Alfred Bannister, to Bernard Bannister in 1932. In Feb 1937 it was renamed to be the Andros, ownership transferred to Alfred Bannister in 1947 before it was broken up in March 1957.
