In June 1915 it was requisitioned by the Admiralty but returned to its owners in August 1915. It was also requisitioned by the Admiralty for the fishing reserve in 1917, before being returned again in 1919. IN in 1921 it was owned by Lindsey Steam Fishing Co. Ltd. Grimsby. On the 25th Februrary 1945 the Anna Michelle sank after being mined 15 miles south east by east of Outer Dowsing. All crew lost.
