:
M.S.L.R level crossing gatehouse in Armstrong Street. The railway (now non-existant) served the docks - now replaced by West Marsh Sidings. This building was the original gatehouse at the level crossing on the Great Coates branch railway; the gatehouse was redundant when it was replaced by a signal box. The Great Coates branch railway closed in 1910 and the level crossing became redundant but the building remained as a house until the 1960s when it was demolished.
