World War One tank at Thrunscoe Recreation Ground (about 250 yards S.E. of the house known as Summerfields). The tank was presented to Cleethorpes War Savings Association as a present for money raised during the war. The tank was installed at the site in March 1920 without railings around it. Railings were fitted after some boys managed to get into it and released the handbrake, resulting in the tank rolling backwards off its mount.
