This appliance was manufactured in 1809 and was lent to the International Fire Exhibition at Earls Court in 1903. The picture shows this venerable old pump being manned by the old retired firemen (Robinson, Cox, Locking, Harvey and Burkes) for the 9th August Coronation Day Event. They were actually paid 3/6d each.
