The first electrically driven Phonograph in Grimsby, circa 1895. The batteries had to be taken to Hull for recharing. Amongst those listening to it are:- 2nd from left, Edward Dolan of the Granby Inn 3rd " Prof. Dent of the Hippodrome 5th " John A. Moore, chemist Seated on the right is H. J. Curry of the Prince of Wales Theatre.
